GTI to Offer IPM Exam Preparation Courses in 2010
The GTI is working in conjunction with the Ontario Golf Superintendents Association and the Ottawa Valley Turfgrass Association to make an IPM exam preparation course available across the province in early 2010. The one day course will be offered in a number of locations to help prepare participants to write the IPM accrediation exam which will be administered at the end of the day. A study guide will provided in advance to help prepare individuals for the exam with the preparation course focusing on the specific needs of participants. Visit the IPM Accreditation Program website for more information on the accreditation process and requirements. Individuals must be registered with the IPM accreditation program at least two weeks in advance of writing the exam. Watch your inbox and association newsletters for dates and locations which will be announced early in the new year.
The course will also be offered as a pre-conference seminar at the Canadian International Turfgrass Conference & Trade Show in Toronto in late February.

Follow the kink above for all the program details. We hope to see you there.

Turf students carried on the traditional of sodding the campus cannon earlier this fall. Thanks to Ron Schiedel at Greenhorizons Group of Farms (Compact Sod) for providing the bluegrass and bentgrass sod the students used to sod the cannon as well as construct a small tee, green and bunker.
