Canada's premiere turf management professional development program!
Since 1970, the University of Guelph's Turf Managers' Short Course (TMSC) has provided practical, science-based education for turf professionals from across Canada and around the world. The TMSC is an intensive four-week in-person program designed to provide turf industry personnel with knowledge in all aspects of turf management and culture. During the course, students will learn to interpret and integrate turfgrass agronomic information to design and implement turfgrass management strategies.
The TMSC is offered annually in February, with registration typically opening in mid-July each year. If the course is full, we encourage you to add your name to the waitlist. Spaces that become available due to cancellations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
