The G. M. Frost Research and Information Centre is a unique architectural form and sits perched overlooking the City of Guelph on the east side of the city. - The GTI Conference Room is a larger venue and is equipped with rectangular tables and chairs can be set up creatively by the user group to accommodate from 20 to a capacity of 70 people, depending on the style of the event and the room setup that is desired. Note that the user group is responsible for room set up and clean up afterwards and conference room pricing is contingent on the nature of the event and the expected number of attendees.
During the summer months, a patio at the front of the building offers a unique setting to use as a breakout area or for a change of scenery over a coffee or lunch break.
Rooms are available for rent during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) and because of this we are not able to accommodate wedding showers, weddings or wedding receptions. Please let us know your equipment needs; we have a large screen, overhead and slide projectors and microphones and flip charts for your use. If you require an LCD projector, the room rental structure requires that you supply your own projector.
