New Communications and Outreach Coordinator

The Guelph Turfgrass Institute has welcomed a new member of the team; Sara Stricker is the new Communications and Outreach Coordinator. 

Sara conducted her MSc research at the GTI in 2015–2017 and will soon complete her PhD in plant pathology. Her background in turfgrass research and plant diagnostics, in combination with her experience hosting events throughout her graduate studies, will be an asset to the Institute. Sara has previously taught high school science and is passionate about science communication and outreach. 

When asked about her feelings about the new position, Sara said she is looking forward to connecting with our stakeholders and the turfgrass industry.
