Facilities
The G. M. Frost Research and Information Centre is designed with the environment in mind. With LED lighting, green roofing, and eco-conscious bioswales, this facility is built for a green future. Catering options are available through any vendor, but we recommend using the Univeristy of Guelph Hospitality Services as they offer good food at reasonable prices and know our facility well. Catering must be staged and served inside the room you have booked. If you wish to occupy additional spaces such as the outdoor patio or grounds, please let us know during the booking appointment. Below you will find a list of details in regards to what is included in each room.
The Chyc Family Boardroom

Accommodates up to 14 people comfortably

Furnished with 4 tables on wheels (can be set up as large boardroom-style table or in rows), 14 chairs, white board, flip chart and dry erase markers

Situated near a kitchenette which includes full-size fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee machine (Bring your own pods), and kettle

OAC Class of 71/72 Classroom
- Accommodates up to 30 people
- Furnished with 15 tables and 30 chairs on wheels for easy maneuverability
- Equipped with projector (HDMI plug-in), screen, speakers, and a blackboard with chalk
- Coming soon: This room will be equipped with two cameras and a high-quality microphone to facilitate hybrid meetings
Lecture Hall (available for naming)
- Accommodates up to 60 people

Furnished with 30 tables and 60 chairs on wheels for easy maneuverability
- Equipped with two projectors (HDMI plug-in), two screens, speakers, and a blackboard with chalk
- Coming soon: This room will be equipped with two cameras and a high-quality microphone to facilitate hybrid meetings
- All other equipment such as conference phones should be brought by the user group
- Access to Wifi must be requested in advance
- User groups are responsible for room set-up and clean-up afterwards, subject to a $100 cleaning fee
- Room rental does not automatically include access to outdoor spaces, exclusive use of the lobby, or parking. Please communicate your needs and expectations when booking.
This facility is for educational and business use; we are not able to accommodate events such as birthday parties, religious ceremonies, wedding showers, weddings or wedding receptions.
